%H is typically aligned with the first syllable in the intonational phrase, regardless of the stress pattern of the first prosodic word. If the first pitch accent in the utterance is high, then the interpolation between the two high targets shows a plateau-like shape.

It is found at the beginning of falling yes-no questions optionally headed by "que".
