Call for papers
The Workshop on Catalan Prosody welcomes abstracts
on any suprasegmental aspect of the Catalan language
from a phonetics and phonology point of view. We
also welcome contributions on interdisciplinary
research on Catalan prosody, including the interface
between prosody and pragmatics, prosody and syntax,
prosody and gesture, prosody and acquisition, among
others. Abstracts can be written in Catalan or English.
This edition of the Workshop includes a selection
process of abstracts. The accepted proposals will
be distributed into either oral communication or
poster format.
Abstract formatting
Submissions should be sent in DOC
format. Abstracts should not exceed one page of
text; an extra page may be added for references
and figures. Pages should have a 2.5 cm margin on
all four sides (measured on A4 paper). Font type:
Gentium (includes the phonetic symbols; click
here for more information), 12 pt. Line spacing:
single. The first line of the abstract should contain
the title of the paper in boldface, the second line
the author's name(s), the third line the affiliation(s)
and the fourth line the e-mail address(es). A blank
line should be left between the title lines and
the abstract text.
An anonymous copy of the abstract
must be attached.
Abstracts (the anonymous version
and the version with name and affiliations) may
be submitted via email before May
10th 2013 to the following address: nuria.esteve@upf.edu. Notifications regarding acceptance/rejection
will be made by May 30th 2013.
