Iris Hübscher


Research Interests

My research interest is multimodal communication with a focus on the interaction between pragmatics, prosody and nonverbal communication. In my thesis I am investigating how children develop stance marking, both epistemic and interpersonal. Of particular interest in this development is the role played by prosodic and gestural cues in comparison with that of lexical cues.
